Site Description:
This site is dedicated to the collection and study of
materials related to the direct as well as collateral kith
'n kin of my great-great-grandparents, William Paschal
Henry (1832-1912), and his wife, Josephine Wingfield
Davis (1842-1899). Wm. P. Henry was born in Kentucky,
son of Thomas & Mary (Kirtley) Henry and was in
Matagorda County, Texas by the time of the 1860
Census. Josephine was born in Morgan County, Georgia,
daughter of Milton Grant & America James (Fears) Davis,
and was in Brazoria County, Texas by 1859. Josephine &
Wm. P. married in Brazoria County in 1864, and were
living in Milam County, Texas before 1880. Both died and
were buried there in the Murray Cemetery.
